Feast of St. Camillus – Indian Province

As a preparation for the Feast of St. Camillus all the communities in Indian Province had nine days of Novena in honour of St. Camillus. Adding colour to the celebration Fr. Baby Ellickal , the Provincial Superior, brought a Unique Reliquary from Rome carved in wood in the model of the Basilica of Milan. The Reliquary consist of the relics of St. Camillus, Bl. Luigi Tezza, Bl. Enricho Rebuschini, Bl. Josephine Vannini and Bl. Brun Barbantini. Special Prayers were Conducted on 14th July in Snehadaan Community with the Relics and all received God’s blessings through the intercession of St. Camillus.

Feast of St. Camillus de Lellis, was solemnly celebrated in St. Camillus Provincialate, India on 15th July 2017. The Holy Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev Fr. Xavier, Superior General of Congregation of Rosarians. It was indeed a day of Joy and bliss to celebrate the feast of Our Founder and Patron.
