The Feast Day of St. Camillus in Vietnam and the Perpetual Profession of Two New Religious

In the Delegation of Vietnam our founder St. Camillus was solemnly celebrated on 15 July and there could not have been a finer opportunity to celebrate the perpetual profession of two keen young men who wanted to offer their lives, for ever, in line with the spirit of our holy Founder, St. Camillus.

Of these two young men, one chose the clerical state, C. Tran Van Hung Giuseppe, and the other chose the lay state: Br. Tran Dinh Long Francesco Saverio.

The ceremony witnessed the strong participation of Camillian religious from the Province of Thailand as well as many local religious and priests, the choir, very many faithful and people who work with us in our care-providing activities, and both Vietnamese and Thai benefactors. This was a day full of exultance and joy for the whole of the Delegation which this year celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of its foundation. One could say that it is at the height of its youth and with these last two perpetually professed it has twenty-five perpetually professed, a good number of seminarians, five novices and many young vocations attracted by the Camillian charism. May the Lord bless and protect this little plant which is flourishing in order to being to many people that comfort that our Founder sought to bring to all those who were in need!
