Pastoral care of humanitarian aid workers

The course aims to train humanitarian care workers in light of Pope Francis’ call for care and concern for suffering humanity as per his Motu proprio “Humanam progressionem” (Promoting Integral Human Development). He calls for concern for suffering humanity, including the needy, the sick and the excluded, those who are forced to abandon their homeland or are deprived, the marginalized, victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters, prisoners, the unemployed, victims of contemporary forms of slavery and torture, and other people whose dignity is at risk.
