On the occasion of the World Day of the Sick of 2021 in his video message Pope Francis dedicated some thoughts to the delicate historical moment that we are currently living through, emphasising how the pandemic not only involves those who are going through illness but also all health-care workers and their families. We spoke about this to Brother Carlo Mangione, a Camillian religious who, like the whole of the Congregation, has as his point of reference the charism of St. Camillus de Lellis and lives his life on the front line in hospitals.
