The meeting with some Provincials and former Superior Generals which took place yesterday helped the General Consulta to decide to act with solicitude to strengthen  union between our brothers and thus to address, in a cohesive and compact way, the events of recent days.

The General Consulta, together with a former Superior General, will go once again to the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Apostolic Life to coordinate the most suitable forms of practical action, helped by a canonist and by a lawyer. Aware that this event is creating suffering in very many people, trusting in the help of the Lord and St. Camillus, we express to everyone sincere gratitude for their nearness.
