Camilianos no Brasil: 100 anos de missão

In this special edition of our newsletter, we are already celebrating the Jubilee year and we remember with joy the arrival of the Camillian Fathers Innocenzo Radrizzani and Eugenio Dalla Giacoma. In 1922, these two courageous missionaries embarked for Brazil, bringing with them a lot of faith and hope, and a great desire to bring the Camillian charism to our lands.

In commemoration of 100 years of Camillian presence in Brazil, we present the partnership between the Camillian Province and the Catedral Viagens in the proposal of an international pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Camillus in Italy.  A 16-day pilgrimage that will touch the main places that have marked the history of our founder and the Order.

In the informative text we present the priestly ordinations of three Camillian deacons. We also recall a bit of the past, telling the story of the Assis Chateaubriand Seminary, the Camillian mission in the Humberto I Hospital, and the faithful collaboration between the priests who founded the mother house of the Brazilian Camillian Province.
