An oasis of peace will host the General Chapter

Schermata 2013-04-09 a 10.42.22The 57th General Chapter of the Ministers of the Infirm announced by Fr. Renato Salvatore, General Superior, for the month of May 2013, will be held at the Casa Divin Maestro in Ariccia, near Rome, a religious structure and place of worship which for years has hosted General and Provincial Chapters, training and guidance meetings, prayer meetings, conferences for priests, nuns and lay associations and courses of spiritual exercises.

The house was commissioned and built by Blessed Giacomo Alberione, Founder of Edizioni Paoline, the first clergyman to deal with mass media, placing at the center of his reflection the figures of Jesus the Divine Master and Saint Paul, considered the first social communicator, as he left his entire preaching work collected in his Letters.
The motto of Blessed Giacomo Alberione was to “bring Christ today with the means of today“, to spread the word of God by every means that modernity has made available. A message received with open arms by the Ministers of the Infirm, as well as by Pope emeritus Benedict XVI and  today by Pope Francis.

This is precisely the place chosen by the Camillians for their elective and legislative assembly, that will establish the guidelines and the ways forward for the foreseeable future.

The Exercises are a continual prayer. Prayer is the oration, prayer is to sing, prayer is listening to the sermons, is to work, is to rest. And in this prayer keep in mind: it is God who grants. For His part, He gives everything you request, as long as, of course, there are the proper dispositions: prayer is almighty. All those who pray are fulfilled. “Ask and you shall receive, ask and you will receive, knock at the door and it will be opened.”
